What related media players does EverTrade accept?

EverTrade accepts VCR/VHS players and Blu-ray players for residential drop-off. Please remove all tapes and discs before bringing a player.

Do I need an appointment for residential drop-off?

No appointment is needed during weekday business hours. EverTrade is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Saturday visits are by appointment.

Tapes, CDs, and DVDs are not accepted

Q: Does EverTrade accept tapes, cassettes, CDs, DVDs, or Blu-ray discs?

No. EverTrade does not accept physical media, including VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, MiniDV, Hi8, Digital8, audio cassettes, microcassettes, 8-track tapes, backup tapes, CDs, DVDs, or Blu-ray discs.

EverTrade cannot accept physical media because it contains little recoverable electronic material. VCR/VHS players and Blu-ray players are accepted, but all tapes and discs must be removed.

Please do not bring physical media

This includes VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, MiniDV, Hi8, Digital8, audio cassettes, microcassettes, 8-track tapes, backup tapes, CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs. EverTrade does not recycle or destroy these items.

For disposal options, check with your city or county solid-waste program or a specialty media recycler. If the recordings matter to you, digitize them before using any disposal service.
